Well it's done and out... "Bona Makes You Sweat", Richard Bona's new live cd recorded in Budapest @ A38, July 11th & 12th, 2007. It was a great couple shows and we had a blast making it. A five camera shoot and multitrack recording. Available @ his website. As of now it is an enhanced cd w/ one video track, but will hopefully be available as a full dvd performance before too long? 02.03.08 | "welcome to..." is complete & Baz Bar, here we come..!
Howdy ya'll, and a happy February to you!
Well, first thing, planetJABR's debut CD "welcome to.." is now complete and available @ CDbaby.com, and for download @ our www.myspace.com/planetJABR site, as well as @ iTunes.
Secondly, we leave for St. Barth's FWI early Monday morning (2/4) for our 3 week residency @ Baz Bar. We'll be kicking out the groove jams 6 nights a week and gettin' our beach time on. We'll be back in March and our CD release party will be following soon afterwards. More on that ASAP. Have a great February and I hope to see you soon!

Howdy Ya'll,
Hope that your holidayzzz season is going well, and in a fun and festive mood. All's good on this end. Lots of stuff going on through the cold winter months which is always nice...
- Been busy finishing up the debut 'planet JABR' cd "welcome to...", and it's going to the mastering house this friday (12/21), and should be finished and available by mid-January, just b4 we head down to St. Barths for our 3 week residency @ Baz Bar.
- B4 New Years, I'm headed to Umbria, Italia w/ KJ Denhert for the week of New Years. Really looking forward, as the band sounds awesome and Italia is the shit! Beautiful people, vibes, sites and great FOOD!
- Then to LA LA land in mid-January to work the NAMM '08 w/ Waves.com and their new GTR3 system.
- Then off to St. Barth's for February!
Plus I've got a couple new tunes up on the site that have I've been workin' on over the last couple years that are finally ready to hear the light of day.

I just finished a year w/ the Richard Bona Group. Traveled and played all over the globe, met some wonderful people and went to some amazing places! I'm looking forward to being back in Brooklyn, devoting my time and energy to planetJABR and other creative projects around town.

Just arrived in Tokyo yesterday to begin 5 nights w/ the Richard Bona Group tonight @ the Blue Note Tokyo, then one night @ the Blue Note Osaka and then 3 nights @ the Java Jazz Fest in Jakarta Indonesia. Wow, can't wait to see more of these amazing country!

Yesterday I joined forces w/ First Act Guitars to create some sweet custom axes for the road and beyond...
First up is gonna be a semi-hollow body style guit-box called 'Delia' w/ a nice 50's style FAT neck, rosewood fingerboard, Stetsbar - professional tremolo system, handmade Lollar PAF pickups and much more. I'll put pictures up as soon as she's done!
First Act's A&D dude Jimmy Archey has been so kind as to lend me a beautiful custom 'Delia' one off w/ a gorgeous orange flame maple top and chrome hardware for the gig w/ RB next Friday night, so needless to say... it'll be in full effect!

Just got home on Tuesday night and getting back to the Brooklyn vibe. The tour was great and it looks like next year w/ Mr. Bona is gonna be a pretty busy too. But for now it's time to get busy in Brooklyn!

Hope that the fall is treating well. The RB tour has been going really well.
The vibes are really good and the music and band are sounding great every night. Right now we're in the midst of a 13 day whirlwind though 9 different countries! Then we play a few shows in France, and then travel to Africa for the last 2 shows and some down time before we head home.

Getting ready to hit the road w/ Richard Bona for 7 weeks -

Last night was the first of 3 nights w/ Richard @ Zinc Bar in NYC.
The house was packed for most of the evening and we had a blast.
The band keeps sounding better and better every time we play.

09.23.06 | West coast gigs w/ Richard Bona, and JohnCaban.com in full effect!
howdy Ya'll,
Had a great time on the west coast w/ Richard and the band. The music is coming together more and more w/ each gig. Really looking forward to the three gigs @ Zinc Bar and to the European tour. The big highlight on the west coast was opening the Monterey Jazz Festival's main outdoor stage. 2000 peeps checking it out, and really dug Richard's show. As well, on right after us were the original 'Yellow Jackets' w/ Mr. Robben Ford on guitar! He's just so amazing and one of my long time favorite pickers. Also got to meet Robben quickly in the lobby of our motel @ the opening night after party... nice! What a sweet guy, and such the tasteful player!

08.30.06 | Fall European Tour w/ Richard Bona!
Hey everyone,
BIG NEWS... Richard Bona has asked me to join his band!
He is a virtuoso bassist/vocalist/song-writer who's played w/ some of my favorite musicians. We're headed out in the next couple of weeks for a short US tour in early/mid September and then for a 6-week tour of Europe and Africa from mid October till the end of November. Check out the concerts section @ Richard's site for exact dates, to hear clips of his music and read more about him. He's a truly amazing musician and person, and I'm so looking forward to working and playing w/ him!

Hey everyone,
Hope all is well w/ you in this heat?! It's been a while, and all things are good. Our son Kai is getting BIG, talking up a storm and nearing the 2 year mark! Time sure does fly when your having fun. (check 'muse' for new pics).
Been busy working on Amy Lennard's new record, produced by Ben Wisch. Stacy Ness's new record, produced by Peter Vitalone. And, a new Jimmy Cliff track called 'People' (which is a duet w/ Sting) produced by Christian Lohr.
Doing some tracking w/ Nir Z this weekend, then upstate next week to work on a new recording project w/ Anthony Robustelli, Frani Lugo, Ray Levier and Tony Tino, should be a blast! (check the links page for more info on all those mentioned...) Working on a bunch of new stuff in the blue room, that'll be on the sounds page, which should be up very soon too. The blue room is always available for tracking guitars, pro-tools production and guitar lessons. Feel free to contact me anytime. Howdy Ya'll, hoping that 2006 is starting off in a great way for you!
The Organic! holiday residency at Baz Bar was a great success.
We performed for 25 nights in a row, playing a mixture of original songs, instrumentals and covers, entertaining a bevy of rock stars, movie stars, scientists, sailors, yachtees, tourists and locals alike. On several occasions, island favorite Jimmy Buffett joined us on stage! Musically, the band grew tremendously from the continuous nights of playing, plus our tans were looking quite nice from many chill days at the beach. 11.05.05 | Fall is here...
Hey everyone, it's been a while. First off, I'm so proud to annouce that our son Kai turned 1 on Rocktober 16th. Wow, how time flies!
Organic! just recorded the basics for a new disc w/ our new drummer Yuval Lion (www.yuvallion.com) @ Benny's Wash & Dry in Brooklyn, really excited about what we got down in just 3 days! (check out some session pics in the gallery).
Heading down to the island of St. Barth's FWI w/ the family for the holidays (12/15 - 1/09/06). Gonna be teaming up w/ my old friend and amazing singer/song-writer, guitarist and musician John Cruz (www.johncruz.com) and Organic! for 3 1/2 weeks of gigs @ Baz Bar (www.bazbar.com) John, Yuval and I will do a week and a half acoustic/electric trio stylie and then Bennett will join us on the 27th to kickout the jams through the 7th of January. "Pilates - Lower Back Care". Also producing my friend Francesco Vega's record and working on material for my soon to be released cd (more on that ASAP).
